Type of Labour Card
- Building Card: If you work under a registered contractor you get a building card. With this card you can avail almost all the benefits of the scheme.
- Social Card: Workers in agriculture or other non-construction sectors get a social card. They also get health insurance along with other benefits.
Who are Eligible For Labor Card?
- Age: Your age should be between 18 and 40 years.
- Worker Type: You must work in the unorganized sector.
- Citizenship: You must be an Indian citizen.
- Employment status: You must not be working in organised sectors covered under EPF/NPS/ESIC.
- Income: Your monthly salary should not exceed Rs 15,000, and you should not be paying income tax.
- Residence: You must be living in the state where you are applying.
